Life is one continual chance to try one idea after the next until one takes hold and allows you to retire in comfort. The trouble is that most people are not trained to think out of the box and thus believe they lack or are totally devoid of creativity. They go to work in companies, put in their forty years of working for a boss, get a gold watch (if they are lucky), and then retire on a pension and a small profitable investment or two.

Every one of us, at one time or another, has had an idea that we thought could be a goldmine. We shared it with a few people, they laughed at our brain farts, and then we retreated from ever sticking our head up again for fear it would once again be chopped off.

My niche ideas were gleaned from my niche business opportunity newsletter, The Japan Business Insider. Every week I studied and strained to provide my subscribers with two or three hidden niche opportunities in Japan and directories.

These ideas were not all brilliant or maybe even practical on second thought, but they were and are stimulus for brainstorming and successful enterprise.
